Draft Regional Conservation Investment Strategy Virtual Public Meeting

The RCD partnered with the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission to develop the Santa Cruz County Regional Conservation Investment Strategy (RCIS). The goal of the RCIS is to leverage the wealth of local knowledge and conservation planning into a comprehensive, regional, voluntary strategy to protect Santa Cruz County’s unique biodiversity and the ecological communities that support it and promote resilience to foreseeable pressures and stressors. The RCIS will also help direct mitigation dollars to the highest and best use. The Draft RCIS is available for public review from May 27th to August 16^th, 2022. We invite you to provide your input on the draft RCIS in writing by e-mailing your comments or by attending the virtual Public Meeting that will be held:
