This form is to apply for the Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County's Fall Neighbohood Chipping Reimbursement Program. Your approved application will reserve funds for your neighborhood that will be reimbursed for eligible chipping expenses once your neighboorhood completes the chipping and submits required documents. Funds reserved are based on the number of participants and road length that you submitted in your application.This is a first-come-first serve incentive program to allow neighborhoods of at least eight (8) landowners create defensible space and/or create safer emergency access routes.
Chipping must occur between July 15th and October 30th. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are reserving reimbursement funds for 30 days. Within these 30 days you must complete chipping and submit the online Chipping Reimbursement Form, consisting of:
1. A completed Reimbursement Request Form,
2. One set of before and after photos
3. In-kind hours spent preparing for chipping (clearning, hiting contractor, etc)
4. W-9 Form, and
5. A receipt from a Licensed Contractor (proof of cashed check or credit card statement).
Failure to submit the online Reimbursement Form within the 30 days will forfeit your reserved funds, and they will go to the next eligible neighborhood in line.
You will receive an email confirming that your application has been accepted.
