Pervious Concrete & Dry Wells: Technical Training for Professionals

Runoff as a Resource FinalPervious concrete and dry wells are great tools for managing stormwater. This technical training for stormwater professionals will use local examples and provide detailed information on the latest specifications, design options, permits, and maintenance for pervious concrete and dry well installations.

Updated pervious concrete specifications released in the fall of 2016 are leading to new levels of quality and performance. Learn how utilizing the latest industry specifications and proper maintenance will ensure that your pervious concrete stormwater system continues to perform throughout its 30 to 50 year life cycle.
Dry wells can be a good solution for improving ground water recharge. This training will highlight local project examples in the Santa Cruz County area. Topics will include site selection, design methods (hydrology and hydraulics) types of dry well systems, construction and lessons learned.
