- Farm loans, building equity, USDA cost-share conservation programs
- New marketing strategies, local farmers’ market update
- Hot tips for filing farm income tax
Access to Land (3:15 to 5:15)
- Innovative land tenure options – best practices for ag leases, land purchase strategies, and use of easements
- Farm business structures- LLCs, S-Corps, Partnerships
- Review of local agricultural land for lease and sale
Reception (5:15 to 7:15)
- This is a great chance to network with other farmers and land owners in the area. Tasty hors d’oeuvres & refreshments will be served. Land owners & farmers will have a chance to describe land needs and available leases, partnership opportunities, or land for sale.
